International Rescue Committee New Jersey Workers Win Voluntary Recognition of Union

We are excited to announce that International Rescue Committee (IRC) workers in Elizabeth, New Jersey have officially been recognized and won their union with OPEIU Local 32.

Last night, a card check took place in which a neutral arbitrator confirmed that the overwhelming majority of IRC New Jersey Workers had signed union cards to form their union with OPEIU Local 32. Now that the union at the Elizabeth office has officially been recognized, the workers look forward to bargaining along their fellow IRC workers across the country who have also organized with OPEIU locals.
